Back To The Start

I snapped this photo a few days ago while enjoying a weekend excursion with family in Birch Bay, Washington State. I couldn’t avoid the feeling of deja vu and realized I’d taken a picture from this same vantage point a few years earlier. What stood out for me was that I’d taken this first photo when I was starting my manuscript for NOBODY’S VICTIM. I experienced a feeling of accomplishment and closure taking this second photo because it came at a time when I’ve completed that manuscript.

I’ve learned a lot about writing and about myself in the years between those photos. It was nice to go back to where it started. thumbnail_IMG_1241
