When I hit my favourite running trail, I do my best to block out distractions to focus my attention on writing. Well, some days are better than others. Today for example, there was no way to ignore this black bear. It’s not unusual for me to see bears on this trail, but I’ve never seen one this late into Fall. As the Teddy Bears Picnic Nursery Rhyme song goes, it sure was a big surprise, and this was no teddy bear!
