Vision and Follow Through

I frequently pass the log below on my walks on a local trail and I’ve often thought it resembles an animal. I’m not the only one who thought this, but someone became creative and put their vision into action. I see a parallel with writing in that it’s important for me to have a vision for the story I’m working on. But ultimately it’s what I do with that vision and how I put it into action that is a key factor to completing the story. On that note, I’m happy to say I’ve completed the first draft of my third book!
