The Value Of Research

I mentioned recently that I finished the first draft of my third novel. When one phase ends, the next begins, and in my case, this involves seeking feedback from the research I did. I contacted a former police officer for feedback on my scenes involving police; and I reached out to a Crown Prosecutor for feedback on the Court scenes in the story. I really appreciated the insights these experts provided, and I’m busy incorporating their feedback into my manuscript. I really think the story is better for it!
