Getaway

I’ve been a fan of Pearl Jam since 1993 when I first saw them play live. I thought about their song Getaway the past few weeks while vacationing with family.

I snapped the attached picture of one of my favourite running trails. This trail in Semiahmoo Park has been a huge part of my personal getaway for the past twenty years when we stay in Birch Bay, Washington State.

This particular getaway provided many moments of inspiration during the writing of THE KILLER TRAIL. It’s proven to be equally inspirational for me as I delve into the story I’m currently writing. I can hardly wait for my next Getaway!
