Farewell to 2020

2020 will be a year for the record books. Unfortunately, not for good reasons, for the most part. The Covid-19 pandemic affected us all in one way or another. As I reflect on the year, I remember losses. I also remember valiant efforts of keeping loved ones close to our hearts, even as we practiced ‘social distancing’.

In terms of my writing, 2020 saw the release of THE WEIGHT OF BLOOD, my sequel to THE KILLER TRAIL. I was very fortunate to work with the amazing publishing team at NeWest Press, including the editing assistance from Leslie Vermeer; the cover design by Kate Hargreaves; the marketing and promotion assistance from Claire Kelly; along with the support and guidance of general manager Matt Bowes. My experience with the publication of THE WEIGHT OF BLOOD was a beacon of light during a year encompassed in darkness.

I look forward to the New Year with hope and optimism, including resuming work on my follow up novel.
