Inspiration

For me, inspiration can come from unexpected places, at unexpected times. I was writing a scene for the book I’m working on which involved the main character, Chris Ryder, running around a lake. On a break from writing, I was walking on one of my favourite trails when I saw a heron standing at the edge of the lake. It was a nice, tranquil moment and I was inspired to include it in my book.
