The Evolution Continues!
I recently submitted my manuscript for BREAKDOWN to an editor and waited with nervous anticipation for feedback. On a personal level, I was happy with how the story had evolved from THE KILLER TRAIL and I was equally happy with the job I’d done with the first draft for this follow up story.
But I also know the importance of having my manuscripts viewed and reviewed through the fresh eyes of a professional editor. The feedback I received was encouraging and enlightening. It also helped me realize that one element of the story in BREAKDOWN continues to evolve, beyond even what I had originally envisioned. This element is critical in making the link in the trilogy arc for book three. So it’s back to the keyboard for me, excited to see where this story leads!
This writing process with editing reminded me of two quotes:
There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed. Ernest Hemingway
Nothing is impossible. The word itself says ‘I’m possible!’ Audrey Hepburn
