Threat

Physical and psychological threat are among the themes in my books. In THE KILLER TRAIL, Chris Ryder faced a physical threat from Ray Owens in that Ray tried to kill him after Chris found his phone on a wooded trail.

In THE WEIGHT OF BLOOD, Chris struggled with the psychological threat posed by Ray. Even though Ray was in jail and wasn’t an immediate threat to inflict physical harm, Chris’ symptoms of PTSD contributed to him not being able to get Ray out of his head.

In the book I’m currently writing, tentatively titled THE KILLER TRIAL, events will unfold  which will once again make Ray a real and imminent threat, forcing Chris to summon all his resources to protect his physical and psychological health.
