Roaring Into 2015

My last post included a picture I took last December of a black bear. I thought about that bear  when it came time to sum up my present approach to writing. Over the last several weeks that bear has likely sought out a den and gone into hibernation mode. On one level, I feel that I have done a similar thing in that I have retreated to my (writer’s) den.

But that’s where the similarities end. Unlike the bear, I haven’t been resting or conserving my energy. To the contrary, I’ve been busy writing the follow up to THE KILLER TRAIL, and I’ve been very happy with the results. I’ve set a date for completing the first draft and I’ve got a working title for the story. I’m also excited about an idea for the book cover design, one which is in keeping with the theme running through the story and fits in nicely with the book title.

A momentum started to build towards the latter part of 2014 and I’ve been using that positive energy to roar into 2015!
