Keeping It Real

As a blogger, I tend to keep my posts focused on experiences related to my writing life rather than personal experiences outside of writing. However, as a writer, it’s important for me to be authentic, tapping into experiences reflecting the world around me, both external and internal. As a result, life experiences find themselves reflected in varying degrees in my writing. Some of the themes I’ve observed in THE WEIGHT OF BLOOD and the current story I’m writing, THE KILLER TRIAL, involve loss, resiliency and the importance of family.
